Piña Festival 2024 of electronic music in Sanremo
The appointment with Piña Festival is back, organized by the cultural association Adventures Sanremo II . The fourth edition is scheduled from 7 to 11 August 2024 not only in the historic center of La Pigna. The objective of Piña 2024, in fact, is "more Pigna" , which means putting the event more in contact with the entire City of Flowers, allowing inhabitants and holidaymakers, coming from other Italian regions or foreigners, to experience the magic of the neighborhood , which in recent years has regained its attractiveness and tourist value, experiencing positive growth. For example, on 9 and 10 August the after parties will be hosted inside Villa Ormond. Furthermore, for the first time, the event is also selling tickets outside Europe.
As usual, the inauguration will take place at the Forte di Santa Tecla on Wednesday 7 August . Starting with a bang thanks to the German collective Public Possession , who will both install a work of art and give life to an evening of electronic music with a showcase of almost all their artists. More precisely, thirty posters of graphics created by them will be put on display and four DJ sets will alternate, including the selector Bell Towers and the rising female star Sedef Adasi . The latter boasts a resident party at the Berghain Panorama Bar in Berlin "Hammam Nights", thanks to which it is becoming one of the fastest-rising names in the techno-electro scene.
Thursday 8th, Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August will be the key days of the Festival and will be held in the Pigna from 4pm to 1am. All concerts and DJ sets over the weekend will be free. The novelty this year is the presence of a third daytime stage in Piazza Cisterna , where a live concert will take place per day and a wine tasting tour of the producers Lusenti, Rondelli, Wine Governo and Vini Inversi, to bring the patrons to discover the most hidden and evocative corners of the historic center. The programming will be curated by the drummer-rapper Luigi Arieta of Casa Pigna Sanremo, one of the best local talents.
Other important events are scheduled at the main stage in Piazza San Costanzo, where the following will perform: the exclusive Italian Eternal Love live band , which will present its EP "La pantera", the American Livwutang , the English Millie Mckee and the Australian Adriana , to name some of the artists on the bill.
TNP stage: the second stage will be entrusted to the Dutch radio station Radio Tempo Não Pára , which will broadcast all the DJ sets live globally with performers from all over the world.
Grand finale on Sunday 11 August at the Monkey's Beach Club , recently opened on the Sanremo seafront. For the first time the event will move to a private venue with the desire to get closer to the beaches, considering the strong turnout of participants from regions and countries far from the sea.
