Events in Sanremo in Autumn 2024
First events of autumn 2024 announced in Sanremo
The City of Flowers has made almost 127 thousand euros available for tourism, announcing the first events of the 2024 autumn season.
Among the events scheduled, from Thursday 26 to Saturday 29 September the Sanremo Padel Tour will be held, for which an allocation of 40 thousand euros has been set aside. The city is preparing to embrace the sporting protagonists of the event, the journalists sent to follow it and the enthusiasts of this activity of tennis derivation, which in recent years has literally exploded in our country.
About half of the sum will be granted to the Automobile Club del Ponente Ligure , organizer of the Rallye Sanremo 2024. From October 18 to 20, the engines of the 71st edition will roar together with the 39th Sanremo Rally Storico, the 38th Coppa dei Fiori di Regolarità, the 6th EcoRally Sanremo and the 4th Ruote nella Storia. An adrenaline-filled weekend is expected, full of entertainment and competitiveness, as each race will constitute a valid test respectively for the Italian Absolute Rally-Sparco Championship and for the FIA European Rally Trophy, as well as for the other category championships.
An additional 20 thousand euros will be allocated to the Tenco Club . From 17 to 19 October , in fact, the Ariston Theatre will be the prestigious setting for the 47th edition of the Rassegna della Canzone d'Autore, known as the Tenco Prize . This is a much-anticipated event for lovers of quality music, enriched by important collateral events , usually hosted at the Club's headquarters inside the former railway station and in the historic center, La Pigna.
Finally, for the Challenge Sanremo , a sporting event that will be held on September 21 and 22 , 5 thousand euros have been estimated. It will be a succession of exciting races: the one composed of swimming, cycling and 'medium distance' running, the 'sprint' triathlon, the youth triathlon competitions, the 3rd Challenge Sanremo Swimrun – Memorial Alessio Bianchi and the AquaBike challenge.
