Sanremo Unojazz&Blues 2026

The highly anticipated Unojazz&Blues festival, bringing the best international jazz and blues artists to the City of Flowers, will return in June. The 70th anniversary edition of the festival, which first began in 1956, will kick off on June 26th. The event will be split between two exclusive and evocative locations: the splendid open-air Franco Alfano Auditorium and the historic Teatro dell'Opera del Casinò .
Seven events are scheduled on the program until July 4th plus the special evening on July 11th “Kurt Ellings meets Sanremo Symphony Orchestra” at the Franco Alfano Auditorium (entrance fee required), where the prestigious collaboration with the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra will be renewed.
The event is sponsored by Unoenergy , the Sanremo-based company active throughout Italy in the marketing of gas and electricity, and enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Sanremo , Department of Tourism, and the artistic direction of Andrea De Martini and Marco Tonin.
The shows hosted at the Casino Theatre will have free admission.
The event will begin on June 26th with “I'll remember Dodo” by the Franco D'Andrea Trio, continuing on June 27th with a performance by the Tennessee Rose Blues Band , and on June 28th with a show by the David Linx Quintet .
On June 30th the John Scofield Trio will take to the stage , John is considered one of the most influential jazz guitarists in the world, while on July 2nd the tribute to Miles Davis will be entrusted to Pietro Tonolo, Jorge Rossy, Dario Deidda, Giampaolo Casati and Giancarlo Bianchetti.
On July 3rd it will be the turn of guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel's “Remedy Tour” and on July 4th there will be the big final with Nils Landgren Funk Unit , one of the most appreciated bands in Europe.
In addition, a stage will be set up in Piazza San Siro for performances by groups and young soloists , the winner of which will participate on September 18th in the UnoJazz&Blues Contest led by Mara De Scalzi in the casino's theatre (free admission).
"A festival that has now achieved international recognition," added Tourism Councilor Alessandro Sindoni. "In Sanremo, Unojazz is one of the few places where significant events are free. I'm grateful for the idea of concentrating the festival into 10 days: a summer that will start with a bang."
This year too, the event will be filmed by Rai, which will produce a special that will be broadcast in the following months.
